Some Assembly, Zero Compromises

Calm's "Not Calm Moms"

When Calm approached us with their vision for supporting maternal mental health, we transformed the concept into a revolutionary rage room experience. We developed the creative direction, transforming a New York City space into a beautiful environment unlike typical graffiti-covered warehouse rage rooms—where comedian Ilana Glazer hosted moms trading spa days for sledgehammers. Using a Phantom high speed camera, we captured compelling slow-motion footage of both the destruction and the genuine reactions on moms' faces. The campaign landed a coveted feature on the Today show, fulfilling Calm's Mother's Day goal of national press coverage. Through this powerful visual storytelling, Calm introduced a refreshing mental health approach that doesn't silence chaos but makes space for it—proving that sometimes, true maternal support looks like breaking things together rather than meditating alone.

Netflix: Chadwick Boseman Portrait of an Artist

We collaborated with Netflix on the poignant documentary special "Chadwick Boseman: Portrait of an Artist," which honors the late actor's extraordinary legacy through intimate reflections from collaborators including Viola Davis, Denzel Washington, Spike Lee, and Danai Gurira. The documentary captures Boseman's artistic philosophy in his own words—"I'm an artist. People call me an actor. I wouldn't necessarily call myself an actor. I would call myself an artist"—while featuring insights from his colleagues about his meticulous craft and profound impact. Released after Boseman's untimely passing, this tribute celebrates his remarkable talent.

NIU

NIU, one of the largest electric scooter companies in the world, came to us to create something spectacular for their entry into the US market with the all-new MQi GT electric scooter. We collaborated with Red Bull athlete and Hollywood stuntman JT Holmes and professional freefall photographer/stuntman Craig O'Brien to produce this attention-grabbing stunt. We also created a behind-the-scenes video documenting the making of this ambitious production.

This was a professional stunt, don’t try this at home.

Amanda Gorman for TIME

We created a short film featuring Amanda Gorman, the youngest Inaugural poet in U.S. history, reciting her powerful poem for TIME Magazine's cover following her Inauguration performance. Working with conceptual artist Awol Erizku, we sought to capture this historic moment in an artful way, creating a "timeless" portrait that places her in a "cosmic atmosphere" beyond the political moment. This widely celebrated film and cover was part of TIME's special project "THE RENAISSANCE IS BLACK," created in partnership with Ibram X. Kendi to celebrate the power of Black art.
